  1. I presume that it's formed by grignard reaction from the benzophenone. So that will be the major impurity. So you'll have to compare the signals that can be given to one or another without mistake.

    Those are: broad peak around 3000 is from alcohol - 3PhMeOH

    strong peak around 1700 is ketone peak - so it shows the impurity of the PhCOPh.
