If you were to hire a caterer..?

What items would you want to see on there menu? What all would you expect them to contribute to your event then obviously cooking for it??

I would want to know if they make menu items from scratch or if the cook frozen pre-packaged foods.

I would expect plain foods prepared for children but certainly not for adults. Do you want some foods spicy or ethnic?

Are quality ingredients are used instead or the cheapest money can buy.

Are the staff trained restaurant people or amateurs?

I'd already have menu ideas in mind and not completely rely on their menu.

I don't understand the second question :: contribute in what way?

You need to have a good variety of foods. For example, have finger foods, full meal options, and sandwich meals. Go to local caterers and see what they have and try to add your own recipes in with it.
