  1. this happened to me when i was claiming for a short time. you need to ring them up an tell them why you didnt attend, they will then send you a form to fill in to say why u didnt go post that bak to them asap.. if u dnt call them tho it will affect your claim and u may nt get it..

  2. you need to ring them asap to arange another appointment they wiil need a reason why you didnt turn up you will get you jsa payment but it will be a day short they will stop your claim and you will have to fill in a short form to re claim get this sent off to them in the post asap to avoid any further late payments

  3. I am pretty sure they will stop your money unless you come up with a really good excuse. A really, really good one.

  4. Yes, you have to ring as soon as possible, I seem to remember that there is a certain number of days that you can get an appointment in for 'late-signing', but if it goes over that you have to make a new claim.  There's a sort of sick form too if you have to miss an appointment through illness, but I think there's a limit to the number you can have in a year before you have to make a fresh claim.  If you're concerned about it though it's best to ask at the Jobcentre when you are next there.
