If you were to punch someone in the face where is the best place to punch them that would do the most damage?

nose, but the throat punch does alot more damage !! if you cant breath you cant fight.

Majority of the answers is going to be the following:

It just depends on what kind of damage you want to see.  The eyes swell up, nose is broken and/or bleeding, jaw; well the jaw you'll see quick results by seeing the your opponent quickly asleep as well as the temple area.

But if it were up to me, I'd go for the ear; why, because it take's your opponents equalibrium ( balance ) off.  When that happen's your opponent is struggling just to stand.  But then again that's a punch to the side of the head and not the face.

well....the nose is  certainly a good one but if you really wanna knock someone to their knees, if you land one on the tip of the chin, it's lights out.

Punching someone in the nose with a good amount of force with almost definitely cause bleeding. If you are confident in your power, try this  however, for a better effect - even try it yourself...with your finger, press on the arch of your skull, beneath your eye.  Notice the closer you get to your nose, the more sensation you will get, with the same force mind you.  Now imagine having a fist slammed into that point under your eye. KO
