If you were to start a buisness, what would it be?

See, me and my best friend, have a goal for 2010 to have a buisness set up and going. She is a photograper and I am a wedding planner. I figure, if we can put out skills together, we both can get going on this and feel COMFORTABLE in life.....not living paycheck to paycheck.

I was in the wedding business for 22 years in Southern California. We shot on average 300 weddings per year and can only be done in the climate of a state like California. Other states are too seasonal so keep that in mind. I made a great income but my staff and I worked 24/7 as the wedding business is very demanding and you must make yourself available to the brides all the time to be successful. It took me 35 years to finally find a way to make a income with all the time I wanted to enjoy my wife and five children. So think real hard before you invest your time and effort in the wedding industry, I am retired now and devote my time to my family and helping as many people I can start their own business to take control of their finances, their life and their future. I am always available to answer your questions and help in anyway I can.

I'd probably want to start a mix of a video game store and a business that sold things like swords, maces, and stuff like that. Medieval and mythology stuff store. I would have D&D sets, tournaments, figurines and a bunch of stuff like that. It would just be awesome.

I would love to set up a little boutique shop that sells handmade childrens clothes and vintage style wooden and tin toys. The shop would also have a great play area for kids and a coffee/ muffin spot for Mum and Dad
