Human behavior-you can take that anywhere you want to go, for example watching people in the mall.

Just by watching you can tell things about thier relationship.

I would choose the role of parenting on a child.  You could focus on the effects of single parent families vs. kids who have both parents, and the styles of parenting (authoritarian, permissive, etc.).  Parenting is a broad topic and, as a result, you could branch out past what I have suggested.
