I would leg it to the nearest plane with him in tow and explain that we are going on the journey of a life time...all this after collecting my winnings of course. That might be the hardest bit to explain though without giving the game away.

Depends. If you are married then you have to. I saw the news where a wife didn't tell her husband about a lottery win but he found out and sued for half during their divorce. He won.
