i would lay low for a couple of days and get things in order.  I would discuss with relatives  how I was going to go about claiming and see if they have any idea that may help.

I would lay low, the vultures will find out soon enough and then be scratching on your door to get a piece of your pie.  I actually had neighbors, 3 houses down on the street behind me, who won millions, but they moved to another state before they even claimed their money, took them 4 months before they cashed in

You don't have to worry about telling anyone.  The news will do that for you.  Try to lay low, if you can.  But, don't be surprised if you, all of a sudden, find out that you have "relatives" that you didn't know you had.

My fiance and I already discussed this one...just for fun, you know? We would first pay off all of our school loans. Then we would invest the money and live off the interest. Some of those lottery pots would accrue an interest of about $50,000 a month. I think that's plenty. We would live a normal life, but be able to have the jobs we love. We would still work (or in my case, I would like to volunteer my time).

Trick question - most lottery commissions publicize the winner of the lottery so everyone knows it's not a scam.

Personally I'd tell my friends/family. Telling everyone else wouldn't accomplish anything and would probably cause them to just ask for money.

I would tell my family well obviously, but i would not tell anybody else
