clean all the building bathroom. Who's job is that?

Well it depends on the center you work in and the person you work for.

I've worked in a daycare center where not only do I do the preschool curriculum with 20 preschool children with one other staff member but I have to clean in the afternoon and it's not just toilets. I'm talking vacuuming, dishes, laundry, garbages, bathrooms, organizing/sorting toys, etc.

However I've visited other centers who have hired cleaning people to clean the daycare after hours.

So it just depends on where and who you work for.

I have worked in several daycares and preschools both as a Teacher and Director and we always had a Janitor come in and do the cleaning, but we did clean up after ourselves and any major messes like water on the floor fromt he sink or an accident-etc, but major cleaning was left up to the Janitor. It really depends on whether or not your facility can afford it. I don't think it is fair to ask a Teacher to do this on top of the Teaching.

Yes. The teachers are the ones responsible for this. I was always responsible for the cleaning of the bathrooms, except I would rotate with other teachers of course.

Occasionally I was also asked to clean the lobby and office. I didn't mind, it got me out of my classroom of 52 school agers!

When I worked in the preschool, I was also responsible for cleaning bathrooms though.

I work at a daycare/preschool centre and we give the bathroom a clean half-way thru the day but we have cleaners who come in at the end of the day to clean the place properly

unless you have janitors yes it's your responibility to provide a clean environment

In my daycare we clean the bathrooms. I feel better doing it anyway because I know it is being cleaned well!

I worked in 2 Army daycares and they both had janitorial staff.
