  1. i'm sure it means day to day activities. if you're in day surgery, meaning preparations for surgery.  this is what my daughter did & loved it!


  2. In this case, the day to day stuff. The one in charge of surgeries would be the Chief of Surgical Medicine, or some variation of that title.
