  3. Well, I DO work at a restaurant, and I"ve waitressed there for 20 years. I know, I know, I think I'm scared to work somewhere else!!

    I would like to be a manager. It's a local restaurant, so the owners daughter is the manager. But I know who the food people are, what the deals are, and soo forth. I also know how to cook, bartend, do dishes. I've done it all. I've had many people say I should manage the place, but it's not in the cards. But then again, when the manager isn't there, I can be acting manager. But I"ve never really had to use that status!!
