Do you mean an ambassador from Croatia to another country or an ambassador from another country to Croatia. Different goals. But, in any case, an ambassador has no real power. At best, and ambassador can encourage, suggest activities, facilitate contact with developers, and publicize the country. An additional role, always denied, is to spy on the country. Any information an ambassador gains will be reported to his/her government.

I believe I would make a good ambassador because I love the Croatian lifestyle, I would impliment plans to increase tourism thereby increasing our monetary flow and by encouraging the powers that be to focus incoming money to helping the disadvanted to get on their feet again and generally increase the standard of living for our people.
