If you would like a big family - Why?!?

Question

I know I would like several more children, I just don't know why!

People say, 'why do you want more?' and I never know what to say. I just love the thought of a lot of children around the place.

(We already have three, Ben is 6, Ruthie is 2 and Esther is 14 months. There are no problems money wise and our village is desperate for more children to keep the school open, so we'd be doing our bit for the community lol! )

So why did you chose to have a big family, or why do you want one in the first place? Maybe I'll find an answer to all these qusetions!

Well, i've always wanted a big family too, at least 6. I've wanted this since i was a lil girl. I guess because i would love to have as many as tha lord will allow me, i 'd like to see all of their different personalities, and there will always be someone around no matter what, i come from a big family, i'm tha baby of 10 kids, they're my dad's kids mostly but we have been raised around each other. It's just wonderful to know that u always will have a brother, or sister, or child on ur side because there are so many, and family is usually important always... i know some families aren't close, but the ones that are, make u happy that u have them there!

i want a big family because i grew up as an only child, with a very bad relationship with my mum and my dad passed away when i was little.

i just dont want that to happen to my children

i feel like i have a lot of love to give. i'm also a christian and i feel like the world could do with having some more respectable Christ following men and women in it setting a good example for others to follow. at the same time, i'd be happy with 2. i just think it'd be fun to have a big family and have everyone work together, pray together, and take care of each other. the more kids the more examples to follow or learn from.

hey if you can afford more children and have plenty of love left to love them, it's really no one's business why.  when they ask just tell them exactly what you wrote here...that you love the though of a lot of children around, there is nothing wrong with a big family.....actually i think it's great.  my husband and i have three girls and are trying to have a fourth child (hopefully a boy) alot of people think that is a big family, but there a couple at our church who have 6 or 7 kids and i think it is so neat~
