Using a simple club to harvest the seal fur makes more sense than using traps or guns and gunpowder or poison gas.  All those things are bad for the earth.  So it makes more sense to just crush their skulls with a heavy object so they don't suffer and there's less damage to the environment.

Wow, I thought clubbing seals was only a game on newgrounds.com. Either way, if people are clubbing seals, a petition will not stop them. The only thing that might do is cause the government to pass laws (which I think may already be in place, if I'm not mistaken), and turn them into poachers.
