  1. RF is just my personal perference.

Inifinity makes decent speakers but there amps are junk.

I have fosgate subs and love them.

Cheap price but quality sound and iv'e heard some 800$ woofers that sound the same as my RF's. Listen to both of them at a store if possible see which sound better to YOU.

  2. Well it depends on how low your subs would produce bass and the lowest frequency your music has. If you listen to music that has wickedly low bass then i would go with the Infinity Perfect 12.1D because you can get to that lower 18 hz frequency, but if your music doesn't have bass that low then i would go with the Rockford Fosgate.

Personally i like Fosgate better because they are more reliable IN MY OPINION.

Bottom line is that i would use the Fosgate.

    Hope this helps.

  3. Either sub would work fine. Just remember that the best sub in a crappy enclosure will sound just that, crappy. Enclosure design is the most important aspect of how it will sound. But for me, the Fosgate is the better choice. I have installed many of both, and the Infinity just doesn't hold up to high power very well. many times I have had to send them back for the surrounds coming unglued.
