Is the sport more competitive than it was back then and how has the judging changed?

  1. She would be annoyed with 10's ! the system is different now because of all the 10's. 17 is what they aim for now.

  2. Its a much harder competition than it was back then, but I have watched highlights of her perfect performances over the past week and she would come very very close to scoring 10's - even with todays changed scoring system.

I watched the finals of the balance beam last night, and the girls pale in comparison to Nadia and some of the other big names in the 80's/90's.

  3. Well, she would have scored 10s.  But today's score are in 15s and 16s.  She would have lost.  Plus, she would have been too young to compete (at age of 14).  The competitions have also gotten stronger.

Nastia would have kicked Nadia's butt.

  4. Nope.

She would be too young to compete.

Nadia was 14 when she scored her perfect 10s.
