Some parents don't want there kid to be the youngest so they start them a year late so that would make them in 9th....

my birthday is July 15 and I am going ot be 15 and I am at the end of my 9th grade year....I am one of the youngest kids in my grade.....most of the others were born in 1992

like all others I'd say 9Th or 10Th...some schools depending on the state has their cut off dates Aug 1st...so even if its early august that's automatically another year before they can be sent to school...i wouldn't second guess them to much..sounds believable to me

Different areas have different ages for when kids start school - some of them use end of August and some use end of December (assuming we're talking about in the US).

15 would be a freshman or a sophomore.  schools usually allow you to start kindergarten as long as you are 5 on or before sept 1. some parents choose to start their children whose birthdays are close to the cut off date the next year depending on the maturity level of the child.  my son and his cousin were both born in the same year, his cousin in may and my son in sept.  my son is a sophmore, he started early, his cousin is a freshman, his parents started him later.  both are good students, it was just parental preference based on the children.
