  1. NO - there's no magic bullet.

If there really were a additive that can improve gas mileage, the government will require it in the gas today.  Or at least a gas company will add it themselves and advertise it (and maybe even charge extra - meaning higher profit).

If you are calculating it, you must be doing something wrong. Do this to get accurate MPG calculation:

    (1) fill the tank to the max

    (2) zero out the odometer

    (3) get on the hwy and drive about 30 miles (or more)

    (4) use cruise control - VERY IMPORTANT

    (5) get off the HWY and get gas.

    (6) note the mileage and the gas just pumped.

Take the number from #6 and calculate

MPG = miles driven / gallon used

    Good Luck

  2. Absolutly NOT!!! If anything it will make your Truck have more horsepower which in turn actually means less MPG.

Also The Thought of a new air filter does not work either cause cars since mid 80's have had fuel sensors that auto adjust for best proformance!

changing your oil does not change a thing either just keeps your motor life long!!!

  3. Nothing that you put in your truck is going to give you that kind of milege. I think you are blowing hot air.

  4. NO ----16 mpg is great for a 8 cylinder,mine only gets 14mpg.
