If your Best friend showed up at your house w/ a dead body in the trunk; would you help or call the cops?

This is purely hypothetical and assume that if they are at your house the police is not an option for them. Would you help or go get help

Uhh i would first ask what he's doing

with a dead body in his trunk

if his story convinces me enough to help him

well then i'll help him.

If it dosnt i wouldnt call the cops

i would simply just close the door.

I dunno, if I helped, I'd probably end up going to prison too..But still, it is my best friend...I think it would depend on why, exactly she had a dead body in her trunk lmao.

I would most likely ask him what happened. if i believe his story, then i'll help him. if not, i would most likely still help.

To be honest, out of all this time I've spent on Y!A, this has to be THE BEST question I've ever came across.

Ok, to answer your question, no..I would not help them in the sense to dig up a hole somewhere and assist them with getting away with murder or whatever crime it is. I would try to talk them out of it and no matter what kind of trouble they are in, the cops will help them and give them less time because they turned them self in instead of running away. I would NEVER live a normal and happy life knowing that some poor person is out there buried somewhere and it remains an unsolved case. Imagine the friends and family of that poor person :( I would not sleep at night, I would be so nervous all the time, and the list goes on. And even if my friend does not accept my advice to get help and go to the cops, I would still report them. Even if that person was my relative. I would do the right thing, because God sees everything and I want to always make my Creator happy.

I would be curious as to the circumstances of the dead body. If he was a serial killer, I would most likely inform the police after I'd told him to get the h**l away. If he had killed his daughter's rapist, I would just tell him to leave and not call the police.

Either way I would be angry of any involvement with a dead body and would not in any way help him dispose of it.

Neither.  I would say,"I don't see anything but a spare tire in there.  Now, please get off of my property immediately."

If they are truly a friend, they wouldn't involve me with a mysterious dead body.
