reason behind this is i don't won't a rival team to win it all or even get close.

It is like wanting a robber to get away with stuff he stole from you.

I wouldn't mind them duking it out and wearing each other down, splitting a 4 game set.  The Cards can then just kind of creep up within a game of both teams with a good series in Atlanta.

I say let em duke it out.

They have to play, theyre in the same division. What are you talking about?

I am a Cardinal fan, lived in St. Louis all my life, but for the past two years Ive lived in Wisconsin so Im a Brewers fan.

I must tell you though, that sweep by the Brewers hurt bad in my red heart. Not to mention did I ever get harassed at work that week.

No, because even when the Cards win, they know either the Cubs or the Brewers will stay even with them. It makes it hard to gain any ground in the division.
