  1. I am a Captain in the Army, served three tours in Iraq, and no, I do not trust Obama.  Honestly, I am contemplating moving to Europe after my commitment to the military is up because I am pretty sure that he is going to win.

  2.   As a veteran of an unpopular conflict 40 years ago I look at the two candidates running and think, if I had to depend on one of these guys in fire fight, which one would I take?

McCain in a heart beat, so NO, I personally wouldn't trust Obama

  3. When your talking about the Commander in Chief its not a question of do you trust him or not. If you dont trust him and you are serving in the military then your ultimately hurting it. Real soldiers dont question orders...

  4. mccains the one veterans dont trust.

  5. I'd trust him more than I trust your boys bush & cheney.

you're not in iraq fighting today, are you?

  6. My son is currently deployed in Iraq. They do NOT trust him !

  7. I am a vet, but I don't think that is the reason I don't trust Obama, I have actually listened to some of the things he has said, and read what he has writen.

He doesn't know what he stands for, other than smooth talking.

  8. My distrust of him has nothing to do with my status as a Navy officer on the Retired List. It has to do with his childhood mentor in Hawaii. The man he calls "Frank" and mentions repeatedly in his book "Dreams of My Father". Do a web search on Frank Marshall Davis. The answer is there.

  9. How can you trust anybody to be comander when they have never been there

  10. Absolutely! I'm joining OCS after I graduate in May '09 and trust Obama to understand the humanity that lies at the core of each human being. We're not meant to be in Iraq and I cannot possibly trust a party who insists on staying there.

I look more forward to being withdrawn from Iraq and back in the place where America's finest should be .. Afghanistan. Afterall, that's where the terror is.

If you really want my opinion, I love McCain and admire all he's been through and done but I strongly feel he should have been president instead of Bush if a Republican had to be in office.

  11. It's not so much a matter of trusting him, it's just that people of his political persuasion, in the modern era, have a very dim view of the military and while they would never admit it, they work against it, and if that person is the POTUS, they can obviously actually damage the military.

  12. i think im looking at obama more than i am mc cain  I have observed obama he is traveling the world and telling of his plan but mc cain he is simply brown nosing bush and playing checkers while obama is working hard

I really do not want another bush or bush follower in office i think our nation is tired of it all and we need change

I am the wife of a soldier who has seen two deployments with him

  13. Absolutely not... I cannot stand Obama he is pissing me off so much. All his new taxes ideas, the fact that hes filling everyones mind with c**p about bringing the troops home. If he gets into office he will see that he wont be able to do a d**n thing about it

  14. If I was a soldier now I'd probably be finishing up my third deployment in Iraq.

And I think considering which party got me sent there for no reason I'd be happy to trust the democrat nominee.
