  1. You have to be specific about what type of medications you're taking.

Generally, you develop tolerance for the medication, meaning it would take 2x as much to create the same effect it had when you started, and this gives side effects caused by overdosing.  If it's opioid like morphine and codeine, then respiratory suppression is the most lethal side effect.  These drugs are sedatives and too much of it will suppress your breathing mechanism, causing respiratory arrest.  Need I mention severe constipation, lethargy, dry mouth etc?

If it's NSAIDs like Advil, then gastric bleeding and stomach or intestinal ulcers develop (this is because these drugs erode the mucous lining and the tissue is injured).  This leads to another long list of complications that would take too long to explain.

If you're taking aspirin, then you'll easily bleed because it's a blood thinner, as well as have ulcers because it falls under the NSAIDs category.  Thinner blood affects everything else in UR body like heart beats, rate of oxygen transfer etc.

Tylenol, it's hard to OD on but it's possible and it's toxic to the liver.  Tylenol comes in different types and all have something mixed in them that increases the risks.  Eg. Tylenol 3 is mixed with codeine, and it's effects are mentioned above. Percocet is oxycodone (an opioid) mixed with Tylenol etc.

IF these symptoms don't scare U, I don't know what will.  Please, quit while you're ahead.

  2. you'll be as pissed as Doctor House. Seriously, what painkillers are you using? if it's NSAIDS, then you'll get upset stomach a lot and can cause you to bleed and lower the clotting time. If it's morphine, too much of it and it will kill you. If it's codeine, you'll be like Dr. House- seriously.

  3. umm well you wont feel pain, and withdrawal from painkillers is gonna be a *****.
