  1. If the lease is No Pets, then you cannot have any pets. You can ask the Landlord, but you probably won't get a pet.

  2. Typically the no pets rule only applies to dogs and cats, but ask your landlord just to be sure. And make sure your mom will allow it.

  3. Yes you can get a hamster. They aren't the best animal to keep u from being lonely though however since they do not rly do anything at all.

  4. Usually a "no pets" policy has exceptions for caged animals which remain caged. You should have your mom ask your apartment manager about any such exception or ask yourself. It is probably written in her lease, too. She might want to check.

  5. Probably will be OK with the landlord. Get the hamster as a baby so you can tame it, otherwise some can be too nervous to be friendly.

  6. yeah probably...usually when they  mean no pets they are refering to dogs and cats. im pretty sure a hamster - as small as they are - would be fine! i dont think anyone could even tell you had it if it stayed inside. good luck and dont worry!

  7. idk if they would allow caged animals. More then likly. But what the landlord dosent know who hurt them! Its only a hampster. it cant do much! My dad lived in an appartment that does not allow animals, and almost him entire buliding has a cat, or a small dog.

  8. Oh yea you should be able to. I had a guinea pig and now I have a rabbit and they landlords are fine with it...they usually refer to dogs because they bark and cats well they meow but its not as loud but yea you should be able to get a hamster.
