  1. My son was 21.5 inches long and hes almost 2 now and about 35 inches tall.

  2. My husband was 23 inches long when he was born.  But didn't hit a giant growth spurt until puberty.  He was actually shorter than most kids his age until he hit puberty.

  3. My daughter is a little over 3 months, and she is really tall too. At 2 weeks she was in the 75th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight. At 2 months she was 100th percentile for height, and 60th percentile for weight. So I would say that she has grown tall pretty fast. She's still growing really fast, and I'm really anxious for her next well-baby appointment to see what percentile she's in now.

I don't think it makes that much of a difference. All babies are different. Some grow really fast at the beginning and may average out later... some may not. Either way, if there's a problem, your pediatrician will let you know.

  4. my son was 21.5 inches when he was born (4 months + ago) and now he is 25 inches.  he was 7/1 and now is 16/5

  5. My youngest son was very large (11lbs 1oz and 22 inches long).  He just turned 1 and is as tall as his sister who just turned 2.  She and my oldest son were both born 21 inches though, so they were all "big" kids.  :)  I'm honestly not too sure how it effects their growth spurts.  All three of them have always been in the top percentile for height and weight.

  6. no they will just continue to grow and grow my girl is 11 weeks and she has 3 more inches to go before i have to change her to the bigger car seat and she's going through another growth spurt. she's been the same size as a 5-6 month baby since she was 1 month old. and when she was born she didn't fit in the newborn clothes we got her (too small) she was in the 0-3 right away.i look at babies her age and i swear they are like half the size....

also she has allready doubled her birth weight... its amazing how fasst she grows. i can't say that yours will be the same, every baby is different. but a growth spurt is a growth spurt and your baby will grow fast.

    congrats
