If your blind are ur eyes always glazed over?

i have this ex-friend who says she's blind in one eye. she said her mom beat her up when she was little and thats how it happened. but shes a liar so i think it was naturally like that because its a lazy eye. are your eyes always glazed over no matter what????

  1. No.  Not all blind people's eyes look "glazed over".  If the cause of blindness is a disease of the cornea then, yes, the eyes may look glazed over.  But, damage to internal structures of the eye such as the retina will not cause the eyes to look glazed over.


  2. I don't think she's lying. But don't give her any impression that you think she might be lying. What if it was true? It could tear her apart.

    Wait never mind, you said ex-friend. :p

    A person being blind could still look "normal". It just depends on what kind of a blindness.  

  3. If the damage is to the cornea, then the eyes will probably look glazed over. Cataracts also cause a cloudy appearance.

    Blind eyes can look "normal;" they just won't follow.
