No, this time it's gonna be on MY terms! My babbies actually like McDonalds creamers, so we're ok there. They also like the free ketchup. I use napkins for diapers and they sleep on the fold out changing table in the restroom. The PlayPlace makes a good indoor living room, and somehow I managed to pirate a free internet connection on their wireless system. Plus, sometimes I'll watch other peoples' kids in exchange for an Asian salad. Usually it's Chinese kids. Also, I get all the free shoes I need there.

  1. If you were fired, then any offer to rehire you is no more than an offer of employment.  You are within your rights to request more income, more time off, better benefits, or all of the above.  Now the boss can decide you are not worth it, but yes, you can try and negotiate a better compensation package.

  2. Yeah, some of these things would work, unless your boss is omniscient, then you are screwed.

You better just take what ever He offers and thank your lucky stars you no longer have to feed your babbies McDonald's creamer.

  3. I told you Holy, i don't care what god offers you - you will take this job! We badly need the money!

  4. First depends on why you were fired in the first place.  If you did something wrong then take that into consideration.  do you have the right to ask for more compensation.  If your skills are so good that he had no choice but to call  you back instead of hiring someone else, then yes that equals----cha-ching$$$ VALUE.  So it does deserve compensation.  So I'd tell him what you'd like and then ask him is this something he can do?  If not, then walk away saying thanks, but no thanks.  He will either say "wait, let me see what I can do" or "I'm sorry I wish I could do that but I can't".  the key is to be firm and confident when you say it and most of all please be intelligent about it and dont' sound desperate.  Make it sound like you can take it or leave it too.

  5. Well I'm sure Glacierkid would teach you his Chippendale's dance routine. That might help, depending on which way your boss swings. Add that to the mix, and I'm sure you are guaranteed a great package..benefit package that is.
