  1. G-O-N-E.

You may be able to recover items like your wallet, if you ask really, really, really nicely, however, typically, once its gone, its gone.

You will probably find a clause in your contract that says what happens in case of repo, but typically, as you are no longer the owner, you arent able to recover any personal posessions.

  2. MY FRIEND HAD HER CAR REPO'D AND SHE HAD TO PAY TO TAKE CERTAIN THINGS OF THE CAR.  I KNOW FOR SURE IF YOU HAVE RIMS OR A STEREO IN YOUR CAR CONSIDER IT A LOSS, CUZ IT IS NOW PART OF THE CAR.

  3. usually if you bring the repo agent the keys, THEY generally will remove your items for you.....but they usually won't search too hard, so things in easy view will usually get scooped up and given to you in exchange for the keys.

they generally NEVER let you access the vehicle yourself to retrieve these items.....so all you can do is

    hope that they get everything.

  4. depends on your local regulations. some places, the repo agent is required to make a accurate inventory of any personal belongings which are in the vehicle at the time he/she took possession. in some cases it falls back on the receiver of the vehicle to inventory and store said articles.

personal articles left in the vehicle are not considered part of the repossession and may not be sold unless unclaimed for a specified period.

  5. A lot of times the repo driver keeps your things. It's hard to prove what if any thing you had in your car at that time. A friend of mine lost all his mechanic tools when they took his pickup. You can ask for them back....but more than likely you will never see them again....or they will tell you if you pay them you can get them back.
