  1. If Melbourne were to disappear I would just follow Sandringham and the Soccer, geez,  wonder who I support in the EPL?Duh.

  2. Hopefully it will never happen....but with the AFL saying there will be a team on the Gold Coast in a few years, who know what could (but I highly doubt it) happen to my beloved Lions.  If it did happen (as I said I doubt it would), I would boycott the AFL for a few seasons, then when I get over it (well as much as I could) I would probably support Hawthorn.

  3. If my club went broke and ceased to exist I would not barrack for another team.....I would become a spectator.

But this is a hypothetical question for me because no ARL team would ever go broke and cease to exist. This is a likelihood for a number of Melbourne AFL clubs......so lots of supporters will soon have to make this decision!!!!!!

    RR....Y.C.K.M.A.

  4. If Adelaide went down, I would start supporting West Coast Eagles.

  5. Well, maybe for St. Kilda. One of my mates in Mount Waverley, his entire family barracks for St. Kilda. That is a possiblity, but I am not worried about Geelong going away. The Cats will be OK since the debt was taken care of by the work of Costa and Cook. It also helps that Geelong is in the country, not in Melbourne.

  6. The Hawks

  7. are you serious lol

if my team collingwood folded (HA HA)

i would barrack for central districts in the sanfl

    i only barrack for collingwood

but i like centrals but have never barracked for anyone except collingwood

  8. If the Magpies ceased to exist I'd start following the West Coast Eagles. They are nearly my favourite team already.

  9. If my club went broke I'd also follow the West Coast Eagles.

  10. i cannot believe the amount of people answering this question that already followed another team, i was taught to always follow your team through thick and thin, i would never support another team, I'd give it away and play lawn bowls.

  11. If my club went broke and ceased to exist I'd go into the pro golf shop and buy another one.

  12. I grew up as a Footscray supporter so I would go back to them.

    No Doubt!!!!

  13. I love Geelong I would never go for a different team. (well OK maybe Richmond if they got better again)

    Happy Holidays

    : P

  14. I might not support any team at all as I bleed red and black.

If I had to go for a team I'd choose Geelong.

  15. if the Cows quit football and they were not a team anymore...well....i would hav to go for Brisbane.

(i could NEVER go for Port Adelaide)

  16. If the Sydney Swans folded thenthe AFLwould be in a loy of trouble.

However, I think I would go for the Wester Bulldogs, where ever they ended up.

  17. if swans went broke i'll cry... then go for my 2nd fav st kilda and if they went broke i'll cry... then go for my third fav geelong and if they went broke i'll cry...then spectate

  18. If the Eagles ceased to exist I'd be happy just following the Royals - East Perth in the WAFL.

I can either park at the ground, or within easy walking distance on game days; be familiar with half the spectators at the ground!; go into the bar for a drink after the game; have a drink with the players; the missus is easily able to collect me if necessary.....

I couldn't bring myself to support another AFL club under any circumstances. I'd cut my wrists before I'd barrack for the Dockers!

  19. Wait and see.

A couple of Melbourne clubs will be on the outer in the coming years

  20. The doggies

  21. hey richo,id give it away and just watch the local league-I'm too staunch to follow another club-it just wouldn't be right.

    happy new year mate.

  22. If my team went broke and ceased to exist I'd take up following the WCE. Wouldn't everyone?

  23. Happy New Year Richo, If Adelaide went broke...I would go back to being a North Melbourne supporter. I grew up following the Kangaroo's and I will always have a soft spot for them.

Do you know hard it was watching the 1998 Grand Final? Extremely stressfull and heartache.

  24. i hope it never happens ............. but if it did, i guess it would be geelong cause the ol man supports them

  25. Never happen but if it did, I would adopt Nth Melbourne or Bulldogs.  They are my next best teams.

I dont think I could bring myself to be as passionate as I am with Collingwood though!!

Yep, there is an offical clone of ME thanks to gutsache / techno spaz / dogsbody...
