Assuming we're talking about health insurance here, no, your rates don't go up if you start putting in claims.  It's not like car insurance - you don't get surcharges for usage.

No, your premium will not go up, but the whole group premium may go up when the poliy is up to renewal. However, it also depends on how many employees under that group policy. If the company have several hundreds employees then it will not make any difference.
