If your dyslexia can you still make a good nurse?

i am thinking about applying to uni to do childrens nursing but i am worried that because i am dyslexic i wont be clever enough or i will make to many mistakes and fail. do you think it is possible or i should do something easier? science isnt my strongest point but i love caring for people and love working with children i am a nanny and have 5 year experiance working with children. please let me no what you think! thanks

  1. No, don't let dyslexia stop you.  I have visuospatial dyslexia, and dysgraphia.  I am a nurse, am gifted, but my dyslexia has me reading on a 3rd grade level, which is pretty moderate.  Good luck.
