  1. Play a mix of all the music that everyone likes or just play the music you like its your day.

  2. Just a couple.  Sometimes it works if you break them up.  Like at the beginning of the dance, few people want to go up and dance, so you can play a spanish song then.  Then go for a really popular dance song.

Depending on the beat, you can find spanish and country songs that are danceable.

Ha, I have the same problem as you.  My fiance likes metal, his family likes classical, my mom likes country, my dad likes the 80s and I'm a flowerchild who rocks out to Jefferson Airplane...so there's really no way you're going to please everyone.

Maybe you could encorporate a spanish song into the first father/bride dance?

Just mix it up.  If the song isn't completely danceable, then guests can use it as an intermission - they'll have another drink or piece of food.

Seriously though, don't worry about pleasing everyone.  It's great that you want to acknowledge your inlaw's and parent's musical preferences, but don't worry if you can't accomodate it.  No one will come back and complain that their music choices weren't played.

  3. I think you should just mix it up, rotate the music, you can play an average of 16 songs per hour, so - if you have 7 genre's that's roughly 2 songs from each genre per hour.

  4. I'd let the DJ decide. He's the professional and can probably mix things up for your nicely so you have a good bit of each! ( =

    Good luck

  5. The DJ will be able to judge the crowd's reaction and know what they are enjoying the most.  Since Spanish and Country are pretty similar, they will mix well.  Don't worry too much about it, as long as the DJ has a little of everything, people will have a good time.
