...do you think they would be better ot worse?

I think the Rangers would be a lot better. In the west (NL west) they wouldnt be chasing the Angels, they probably could win the division, and their (I'll just say it-horrible) pitching staff would get to face a pitcher instead of a #9 hitter.

I think their offense would still be good enough to win the NL west.

What about your favorite team?

  1. If only the Yankees played in the NL East instead of the AL East.... The Yanks would be leading the division in the NL East, butare 8 games behind in AL East

  2. Braves. I think they would do much worse in the AL probably. Also, I think anyone would benefit from being in the NL West, it is a terrible division.

  3. Yes, i think the A's would do much better in the NL West. A's dont really have any good hitting pitchers however.  OUr best one, Dan Haren, left.  But, whatever.  Our pitching is a already good and when our starting pitchers can face other pitchers in the 9 spot opposed to hitters, we will even be better in the pitching department.

  4. With the exception of one or two teams, I'm thinking nearly every team in the National League would do much worse if they switched to the American League.

National League teams are set for smallball.  Squeeze plays, double switches, pinch hitters, ect. Not that the American League is void of those, but it definately doesn't play nearly as much as a role.

  5. Orioles would make the playoffs every year if they played in the NL
