  1. Depends on several things: quality of the ink, if there is infection, how the person handles aftercare, how much is the foot used (bent, twisted, skin pulled and pushed etc.), the job of the artist.. etc.

possible problems: infection, line blow out, scabs pulled off.

If all things are good, but the foot has swollen, then put it up, don't move it, do excellent aftercare, treat it like a baby, take prescription strength ibuprofen ever 6 hrs. for 24 hrs (usually 600mgs) .. and continue to do this, and all will be fine.

  2. well i don't have ball park frank feet- they don't plump when i cook them lmao

i wanted a tattoo on my foot bcse i had drawn a vine an it fit perfectly on my foot.

so when it's summer time out and i'm rocking cute flip flops and a great pedicure my foot with be extra pretty with my tattoo.

the only swelling people(women) do is when we get pregnant some people have swelling in their feet. it's nothing that will ruin your tattoo... now on your b*****s and stomach area- that's another story- that skin can stretch and not return to what it was pre pregnancy and can distort a tattoo

prime reason i won't ever tattoo those areas

  3. The skin on your foot can only stretch so much even if it's swollen. The foot tattoo will be just fine don't worry.

  4. No.  It's just the same as when people gain and loose weight after getting a tattoo.  I have a tattoo around my ankle area, got it when I was in my 20's and I'm now 51, I've gained and lost weight alot and I now have problems with my ankles swelling and I have seen no change in my tattoo at all over the years.
