If your fingers are cold enough, will the touchpad on a laptop not work?

Either my touchpad was playing up, or my fingers were too cold for it. is that possible :)

  1. If your fingers are *that* cold, lift up the laptop and put them against the warm parts of the case until they warm up a bit!


  2. I've had the same thing happen to me, so it can't be just urban legend.   If your fingertips are cold (also after holding a cold drink), just rub your hands/fingers together a few times quickly to warm them up.   Does the trick.

    l**k you finger and the moisture on your fingertips will help.
