  1. I am also full term was due on the 19th.  I lost my plug at about 38 weeks.  Unfortunately it does not mean labor will be immediate (at least not in my case), but it does mean that your body is getting ready for the birth process.  The plug is usually lost once you start to dilate.  Right now I am praying for active labor to begin! Good luck

  2. I was considered full term last friday 15. I had been loosing mucus for about 3 days before my due date. I am still pregnant and still loosing alot of mucus. Its like my "area" has a cold haha. Sorry if thats TMI. Labor is no where in sight. Im supposed to get induced tomorrow. Hopefully theyll have a bed for me. Good luck with your labor. Pregnancy cant last forever atleast thats what I keep telling myself.

  3. Not exactly but it will be soon. You can loose your mucus plug up to 3-4 weeks before labor begins. But since you are 40 weeks then you will probably start labor soon. I would not call the doctor until contractions start or your water breaks. Good Luck.

  4. In your case it may but I would wait till contractions start or your water brakes before going to the hospital or to call your doctor. Since your 40 weeks it could be anytime really. Now or they may have to induce. I'm sure labor will start in the next day or two at least (hopefully)Who knows well good luck and I hope labor goes well for you.
