If your going to belize to study the manatees for two weeks, what would you bring?

The other folks seem to cover all the basics.  We saw some manatees out on Ambergris Caye but there are probably other places they can be found as well.

Answer 2

Lots of bathing suits and sunscreen.  Also lots of money for food--it's a little expensive to eat there.  Depending on where you are maybe bottled water (check to see if you have filtered water at your hotel).  Leave your watch at home--everything is very slow paced there.

Mosquito repellent. Lots of it. BInoculars. Summer clothes. Sun screen or sun tan lotion. A hat. Sunglasses. Sea sick meds if youre going out in a boat.
