If your good with cars... I need advice on how to pry my hood open!

Hi,

I know the obvious thing to do is take it to a mechanic..... but right now I don't have the money to have them open it and repair it.......... I just need to get it open somehow so that I can install my new car horn.

I would appreciate any advice. Like how would they open it? A tool?

It has been a problem for a while, but usually if I pull hard enough a lot of times, it pops open........... not today..........

god why do these people make it so hard when they answer right you need yourself and a friend get youre friend to pull the hood lever to open it and at the same time you push the hood down and pull it up and it should open i really hope this works and helps

pry bar and a buddy to pull the relese switch pull the cable out wrap  it around a small bad and yank on it for more leverage probably just needs to be greased.

Grab a friend, wedge something to pry the hood up with and have your friend pull on the hood release cable (back and fourth)

get a flashlight and look betweent the hood and the grill while somebody works the lever. you should see something moving in there somewhere.

get a screwdriver that will fit in the space and help out the something that is moving.

adjust that before doing the horn.
