If your hours are cut

i work at walmart. can you request a transfer to another store? it know boss gives friends 40 hours but i was cut to 15 to 20 per week.

There are always politics in every job.  So, if we are assuming you are an employee that gets there early, and stay late, than we know it isn’t your work ethic.  So, if it is friends that are getting the hours, how can you become more of a friend?  Are there happy hours? Any chance to spend social time outside of work?  You have an opportunity to improve relations with your current boss, but you have too look for them.  Ask your boss what he/she expects of you and what you can do to have the both of you succeed.  The better the boss looks by your work, the more he/she will reward you.  Make them look good, and you will be taken care of.  Transferring, other than because you moved, may not be the best decision.

This is bad. Try talking to your manager. If this doesn't work ask him about transferring to another store. If he can't help, keep working and look for a better job.

Ask your boss if more hours are available. Don't question the practice of him of giving his friends more hours. If he won't give you more hours, you can request a transfer, and if that doesn't work, just start applying for another job.

Transferring is not the answer. Sadly there is always politics in companies which is why I've worked for myself most of my life.

Have to admit whilst an employer I haven't always been fair myself.

There are a lot of scams on the net, but there is also real opportunity.

yes you can ask but you would be better off asking how you need to improve so you can get more hours where you are at.

Here's the best thing you can do:  ask your boss about getting more hours.  If that does not work, then go above him/her and talk to them.  Tell them what's up.  You can't get fired for asking for more hours.  If that doesn't work, there are several jobs like walmart that you could apply to.

Do NOT go to those websites.  Maybe if you knew the people personally that was giving you the websites, but even then that's how pyramid scams start.  Trust me, I worked in a bank in one of the worse neighborhoods around me for 2 years, and we had to deal with that kind of stuff alllll the time.
