my pooch patrol stuffed animal.  i've had him since i was 6 i think and i'm now almost 21.  but he's the only thing i have from when my mom and dad were still married and they got him for me.  he has all my fears and bad dreams and tears and happiness and secrets and stuff in him.  and still sleeps on my bed with me, haha.  definitely am taking him.  it's the only thing my dad said i'm ever allowed to go back in a burning house for.

I think almost everybody would grab whatever was emotionally significant. I am assuming that other people and pets are safe. Then it would be photographs, personal and family history, treasured gifts.

In practical terms, shoes are important, so that you are not injured.
