If your hymen breaks are you still a virgin?

My friend said that she kinda fingered herself. but didnt go all the way in. and she said shes afraid that she might of broke her hymen, but she said she doesnt think so because she didnt bleed or anything.but even if she didnt break her hymen shes still a virgin right? because you can break you hymen running and stuff. so she still is a virgin if she did break it right? and plus i use tampons. and if a finger does that. then a tampon would too.right? gah this is confusing

Yes, she is still a virgin as long as you did not penetrate her with your you know what.  (prefer not to say the word)

Most people consider you a virgin until the first time you have sexual intercourse.  Using a hymen to determine virginity is an old (and often inaccurate) method.  You can definatly break a hymen bike riding, accidentally, or with a tampon ect. You can also be born without one.  If she did break it, it would probably hurt a bit.  

Don't worry about it - no one should be checking your hymen to see if you're still a virgin. :)

I believe it depends on religion. Some people think if you m********e you're not a virgin, some of your hymen breaks your not. but in my opinion you ARE a virgin until you have real s*x. With a p***s.

yes the definition of becoming not a virgin is when a p***s enters the v****a. so unless that happened then she is still a virgin.

The only thing that makes a female no longer be a virgin is when her v****a is penetrated by a p***s.  Plenty of girls are born without hymens, and some have to have them surgically altered if they can't even use tampons.  Hymens tear all the time with bicycle and horseriding and other activities.  It has absolutely nothing to do with sexual purity.

Even if your hymen breaks...and you are right, many girls have theirs broken from everyday things...sports, falls etc, you are still a virgin until your v****a has been penetrated by a p***s.
