It's been pretty hot lately in the Bay Area, but it's nothing so bad that you'd want to turn on your air conditioning at home. But since it's August, it should be getting cooler soon.

i live close to tracy, which is approx 1 hour 30 mins from san francisco.  in the morning, the temperature is usually in the low 80's.  at night it dips down to mid-high 70's.

I live in SO Cal and it's been really humid all week. I live in the desert so i figure this is normal. If you're going to the coastal areas you'll be a lot better off; in valleys are humid and polluted.

Californians call the state "Cal," not "Cali." That started because the Vietnamese have trouble saying "Cal." They do the same thing with "amplifier" ("ampli" instead of "amp") and "microphone" ("micro" instead of "mike").

The temperature in Cali, Colombia, right now is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and cloudy. Sounds nice.
