  1. For auto insurance the quick way to get a low rate is do a policy comparison on auto policies. Make sure that you choose similar options with the same limits, car model, location, etc so that all options are a good comparison.

What I usually recommend is an online comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they have top name insurers and will give many prices on car insurance polices.

  2. With most policies, children (under 25) who live at the same address are not covered unless added to the policy.

  3. You should be on the insurance if your 16-18. but if your 21 and over i think it should cover you.

  4. the best way to find an answer for a  question is trying to explore a approach among an abundant of resources.here is a good one.http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/ca...

  5. If you live in the house of the named insured and are a family member that is not an excluded driver than you are likely covered in thier auto in most states

  6. Most states have permessive use on auto policys.  This give permission for other individuals to drive your vehicle and coverage will be afforded if an accident occurs.

Just make sure that your not excluded from the policy.  If you are an excluded driver no coverage will be afforded.

  7. yes it will ----as long as you are not listed under Restricted DRIVERS

  8. well, it depends on their coverage.

most major insurance companies require that every licensed driver living in the household needs to be listed on the insurance.  if this is the case with your parents insurance, then they need to list you asap or risk being dropped by their insurance.  also, if they did not add you and you got into an accident they will not cover it.

some will cover any driver that is over 25 years old.  so, if you're younger than that, it will not cover you.

and a small percentage cover anyone who drives the car.  you will be covered if this is what their policy states.

have them call their insurance company and find out what their requirements are...  this will save a lot of headaches in the future.

  9. No to both questions. Your parents need to add you to the insurance and their rates will go up considerably. A lot of parents insist that a young person get a part time job to help cover the cost of the increase in insurance.
