  1. Yes, but it has nothing to do with the cordless phone. Getting hit is just as possible as if you were not holding a phone. Whether or not you could get hit has nothing to do with wires, or being near the window.

    If there's an electrical storm near you can be struck by lightning. The voltages generated are so large and so unpredictable that no amount protection from lightning rods or aluminum foil can guarantee you won't be hit.

    Now if you're asking about how likely it is that you'd be hit, well that's another question.
