  1. I find it tough to "choose" between fact and myth.

  2. I am a muslim...There is not a single confliction with science.....there is not any fact in quran which have been proved wrong by science.......80% of scientific facts in quran have been proved right and rest 20% may be right or wrong.......theory of embryology, big bang theory, pain receptors, water currents etc.

read this and you will know that there is not a single contradiction with science

  3. Well, I usually find true science to line up with the Word of God. When science doesn't line up with the Word, it becomes suspect to me because I know the Word is inerrant. Usually, after some checking or times passes, something happens to the "science" and all is well again.

  4. One of my religious beliefs is that my beliefs shouldn't contradict science.  Science and our ability to perceive the world correctly is a part of my religious beliefs.  I can not foresee how Science could come into contradiction with my religious beliefs, however, I would examine both very carefully before dismissing one or the other.  I can admit that sometimes my preconceived ideas about religion or science can be wrong.

  5. the two can not conflict they talk about mutual exclusive things.

  6. I do like to be educated on scientific things, but if it came down to the two, I would say I would have to pick religion.

Science has come up with some pretty weird theories, and things are being revamped, disproved, ect all the time. One example I can think of is spraying people with DDT back in the 60's because science said it safe to use in that way.

  7. Since science deals in observable and testable evidence and facts, then any view of the Universe that doesn't place science at the head is a willfully delusional view.

  8. God of course...

  9. Since science is a living, growing, vibrant thing, I adjust my views to accomodate exciting new developments. I don't tie myself to dead and obsolete superstitions.

  10. Can science save you from sin?

  11. My religious beliefs of course.

  12. Let see, that's a choice between willful ignorance and dogma or facts, logic, reason, reality, and the scientific method.

For those who fail to pick the latter, please stop using clean water, modern sanitation, medicine, electricity, electronics, and all evil scientific benefits, including the d**n computer your typing on..

  13. Truth is nothing for any Christian to fear, so there is no reason for a Christian to fear or hate good science. Learning more about the way God constructed our universe helps all of mankind appreciate the wonder of creation. Expanding our knowledge helps us to combat disease, ignorance, and misunderstanding. However, there is danger when scientists hold their faith in human logic above faith in our Creator. These persons are no different than anyone devoted to a religion – they have chosen faith in Man, and will find facts to defend it.

spread love not hate ; )

  14. my religious beliefs come before science any day
