If your sons wife pointed out the truth to you and it made you mad but she called to apoligize?

would you accept the apology or would you start yelling at her?

Lets say you decided to yell at her, all well and fine......but she says something back to you. Would you feel that she was totaly in the wrong or would you accept some responsibility for not listeneing to the apology and understand why she yelled back?

If she pointed out the TRUTH about something I was NOT ready to hear?   Most of us would OVER react.  Hopefully as the MORE adult person I would THEN apologize for OVER reacting and thank her for telling me the truth.  Its hard to be a spouse that can SEE the truth and NOT be allowed or strong enough to take action to fix the problem.

Especially if the "lie" makes life harder for everyone.

I would take some blame for not  listening but it really depends on what she said to me. try and make up but if you feel she was in the wrong tell her or let her apologies again. give her 3 weeks and if she doesn't respond then she is not a worthy aquatint. Just be civil at family get togethers you don't have to love her but you need to be nice if you want to be on good terms with your son.

Make nice.  She's married to your son and you two are causing him grief.  Accept the apology graciously.
