i'm a writer who just got totally ripped off, i have been published before, i have also been rejected bunches of times from professional publications, however this magazine has printed my story but under another name. i'm in total shock, and i'm not sure what to do.

  1. Maybe you could push for lawsuit

    You know, bluff them out

Make'em seem like you're going to bring in the law

  2. sue the pants off them

  3. I assume you keep rough drafts and copies of your stories, so sue the pages off them... Honestly, I would call a lawyer over that one. I would really sue them and not just threaten.

if you have been published in other magazines then it just makes your case tighter.

That shows you to be a viable, serious journalist. Directly sue the person who's name they did use on the article as well for plagerism.
