If your team made it to the World Series, which team from the opposing league would you least like to play?

I'm a Cubs fan hoping for our first World Series appearance since 1945. If they made it to the series this year I would hope to God that it wasn't against the Los Angeles Angeles. That team scares me more then any other team. They really have all the tools to do it. I'm just glad the AL is as tough as it is because it really would help the Cubs if someone in the AL were to take the Angels out of it because I'm not sure if the Cubs would be able to handle the Angels, especially the Angels with home field advantage (not to mention the best road record in baseball).

I'm a Rays fan and I'd hate to face the Cards because of TonyLaRussa.  He's a great manager.

Well i hope my Jays could make the play offs soon. And with their pitching itd be good you think. But The team id hate for us to face is the Cardinals. They have a great team completley with good managment. Or second choice would be the Cubs. They are just like wow this year and it suprises me. Theirs two teams i would not want to face.

As a Cards fan it has to be the Angels, Red Sox or the Rays.  The Angels have been there before, their Bullpen is nasty, Starting pitching is underrated, and they can score runs.  Pretty much the all the samething for Red Sox as the angels but they have Karma on their side.  It seems that they get alot of breaks, plus Fenway sucks it is a huge plus for them.  The Rays play great D, have alot of power and have young but talented pitching.  Plus I like the fact they are young and don't know the pressure.  Overall I think the Angels are the team I'd least like to play with a great Sox team being second.

That already happened with my team in 2001 when they beat the Yankees!!! This year, I would say the Red Sox though...

As a CUBS Fan, I'd have to say the K.C. Royals. I want when the CUBS finally get back in the W.S.,..........I want them to play the Biggest Baddest Team for the year they play, and currently,.........I would like them to play either the Angels, Red Sox, Rays,..........but, better the first 2 teams, because they have the familiar Big Names, and, I want the CUBS winning the W.S. to be remembered as them playing the best so that the end of their drought will make a Big Statement that they were the best because they beat the best AL Team in the league and not some sub-par club.

Plainly put,........after waiting more than 100 years,.....I want the CUBS to be able to say and it be known that they beat the best Opponent so this Cubs World Series win will be able to be remembered that the CUBS beat the Very Best and it was NO FLUKE and that they earned it and showed THEY were "THE" BEST Team.

My team is the Giants and it has to be the red sox. That team in the post-season has comeback from 0-3 to make it to the world series. And especially since they have homefield advantage and how well they play at home, would really suck if the giants ever played them

I'm a Mets' fan, and after we beat the Cubs in the NLCS, I really hope we don't get the Angels. The Angels pitching is scary.

I'm a White Sox fan and I would say the Cubs or Cards

simply because every other division in the NL is doing terrible when compared to the AL.
