Could you bring yourself to ever support another team?

If you could JUST bring yourself to do that, Who would it be?

Hypothetically speaking :)))

  1. I'm a Doggies supporter, but if they were to be rubbed out I'd have no problem in supporting Hawks (: Because I like some of their players and I have relations at the club

  2. Its happened before when clubs have merged together. I guess if Adelaide were not merged but just evicted from the AFL i would probably have to support the Power since its the only other SA team.

  3. Not this navy blue,it would be stumps for me and id see a lot more storm games that's for sure-how could someone who has grown up with one club suddenly support another club here in Melbourne? imagine the ribbing you'd cop,it would be a shameful act and id rather just give the AFL the Ar$e than support another club.

  4. I have one word AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

If i had too it would be the Cats. Not 'coz they won the flag, my family goes for them.

I barrack for the Blues by the way

  5. If Hawthorn was ever to rubbed out, hate the thought of that happening.

I would still watch football with my son and my dad, and i guess in the end i would end up following the same team as my dad

  6. In some ways I wish the Dockers would fold, then I'd be released of my frustrated support (Old East Fremantle alliance!).

Probably go for the Lions now that I live in Queensland, or the Doggies. Always been a fan of the doggies.

  7. Nice one Broooooce

Well I live in WA but support the Tigers. I have a lot of mates who go for the Eagles, I would probably support them, but not with the same passion.

  8. i wouldnt watch the footy, i would just get more involved in the local footy.

  9. NO WAY

What would i do with my Tattoo

I couldn't barrack for the crows or the power

because i prefer a bottle in front of me

    not a frontal lobotomy lol

  10. couldn't bring myself to follow any other team but Collingwood was born there, don't live there anymore go pies

  11. Well I only started being a Dees Supporter around 1986 ... I had met my future husband and all his family were Dees supporters so I started going to the games and learnt to love it .. and became a pretty loyal Dees supporter... I would LOATH Melbourne to be rubbed out .. and NOT because I am a supporter BUT because they were there in the Begining .. and just for the tradition ... they should ALWAYS be a part of the AFL ......

same goes for the Pies and The Dogs and Geelong  and the Bombers and the Tigers ( i'd donate money to all those clubs to stop them from being rubbed out .. Just NOT CARLTON..)

but IF melb was to be rubbed out .. It would be a h**l of a long time before i could ever consider supporting another team.

  12. The thought of supporting anyone but my beloved Saints seems impossible...

But if I HAD to... probably Essendon. Only because my boyfriend does so I watch a lot of their games anyway.

  13. west coast would never be rubbed out!! :P I dont really think I could go for another team

I'd go for the hawks (just picked a team)

  14. This question is best directed to North Melbourne supporters.

    They're gone.

  15. No i could not

  16. Hasn't happened to me but a good friend was a Roy Boy (Fitzroy)who thought that the Brisbane "takeover" was laughable so he changed to the North Melbourne colours,  so he's now facing another club folding because the AFL are obsessing about interstate growth. He says that if this happens he is switching to soccer.

A relative does not agree that Footscray and the Western Bulldogs are the same club. If they go interstate, or start trading players bigtime, he says he will go to the Melbourne Storm as a supporter.

Andy D and friends are risking a great deal when they have these dreams about expansion into wealthy areas. You can't BUY loyalty.Look at the money being flung around at Carlton to induce supporters to become members!

OK, if the Bombers fold, I could possible adjust to supporting the Saints, or maybe the Cats - but I would keep one eye over my shoulder for the AFL axemen. And that doesn't make for a whole hearted supporter.

  17. As a Sydney Swans supporter there trying to give us more teams rather than take them away.

I might have to say Collingwood - just hope my son doesn't read this post.

  18. i grew up with my stepfather he being a pies supporter so naterally i become a blues man just to give him the sh*ts. if the blues where rubbed out i would neck myself so no i would and never support any other team maybe the aussie test LAWNBOWLS team haha

  19. If Melbourne were to go under I would give up footy altogether, as I watch a lot of EPL it wouldn't really worry me that much, I might watch the odd game but support another team, I don't think so.

  20. Well as you know I barrack for the Kangas,so I have put a lot of thought on this.

I love underdogs so I will definitely go for the Tigers, just like my daughter.

  21. I would get a petition started and then complain about it if it was refused especially because the other team in that state would rub it in BADLEY

  22. i would convert to a collingwood supporter

i grew up in a house of all magpie supporters

so if you wonder whats really wrong with me this is what did it living in sunshine with a bunch of collingwood feral bogans

  23. as someone above said, this is poised to North supporters.

If the pies or lions were ever rubbed out, I would naturally go for the team that replaced them as they will either have the same mascot or market towards the old club's ex-members.

just like for Fitzroy/Brisbane and South Melbourne/Sydney...and North Melbourne/ wherever they end up.

  24. Gotta be joking !  I could never even in my wildest dreams support another AFL team , will always enjoying watching a good match, but I am true to the end a Tiger supporter no matter what!

  25. It was & i have

    Fitzroy, now Brisbane
