  1. I would take them to a mental facility

  2. Try to speak to them, see if it's related to my actions. As i know alot of parents don't they seem not to care about the child at all as they can be selfish stubborn and narrow minded people alot of the time. Not all parents are the admirable ones you see in movies.

  3. Help them cutt themselves see how they react?  If they say stop and get mad or what then they just need counseling if they lay there lifeless and dont fight back then I would have them committed.

  4. The best that I feel I can suggest is not to freak out. Try and talk calmly about it and what the teenager feels she/he is doing it for. Get some professional help; there is nothing shameful in this but it does need treating. It does not have to be by meds. If you live in the UK, the organisation Parentline are very helpful:

    www.parentlineplus.org.uk

    Hope that helps. good luck

  5. i think i would freak out but when im on my own if you know what i mean well not in front of my teenager you have to be strong for them as they are havin problems i would try and talk to them and visit the doctor and get them in to talk to someone perfessional if it still happenin after a tryin the above i would have them sectioned i know it sounds horrid but would could wake up one morning and they might not be with you anymore it would be for her own good

  6. I would get them help..because I know what it is like..I cut myself when I was a teen and I was depressed..never got help for it..I met a wonderful man who helped change my life and he is there for me..dont flip out just talk to them calmly and get them HELP

  7. try and help them. Talk to them. let them know that your not only there parent but theyre friend. im a teenager myself. i go to my mother for everything. shes always there for me to talk to, my mom is like my best friend, and when either me or her are feeling upset or somthing, we usually go to the mall or mighty taco or somthing.

  8. I would get them help. make them understand that you are there for them if they feel that they have to talk about anything.

  9. get them help...

  10. get them the therapist

  11. Talk to them & take them to get help. Just let them know that you love them & would be devistated if something would happen to them.

    p.s. be happy you know it's going on b4 it's 2 late!

  12. Um, YEA!  My niece was doing that and we all freaked out.  My brother took her to every doctor in the book and all they did was give her medication.  In the end, it was the medication that was making her depressed.  Pretty scary thing to go through.  She's off meds now and is doing great.

  13. freak out? nope. love and attention hope distraction space and help they need. whatever they need. I would keep subtely trying little things.

    no freaking out. just love.

    I

  14. all i would want to do is help. in any way they see fit. if they refuse help then id take the upper 'parent' hand and take control and take them to a therapist. but be careful because if you push them too hard then they will only get worse!

  15. I wouldn't freak out at them - I would be supportive, understanding, compassionate, and I would get them help - take them to a doctor and psychiatrist, I would be scared for their safety and would stop at nothing to get them right.
