What are you supposed to taste? Besides there is a taste if you roll your the tip of your tongue to taste the middle.. not much of one but there is.

I don't know about yours, but mine tastes like coarse warm quivering meat.

You can't taste your tongue because, it's your tongue that is doing the tasting.

because your taster buds are ON your tongue, you cant use what on your tongue to taste your tonge- its physically impossible
